Bridgeport Landing on The Alabama River
4/14/23 Bridgeport City Landing Camden, Alabama Update. Weather is Great. Water level is ok. Water temp around 70 degrees. Bass are in the grass and laying next to big logs. Check out my drive through video.
Bridgeport City Boat Landing is where you are going to want put your boat or pwc in the water if you are fishing on the Alabama River near Camden, Alabama. Turn left off of Alabama Highway 28 in Camden onto County Road 37 continue .6 miles and follow County Road 37 to the left. Continue 1.8 miles. Turn right at the stop sign and continue .7 miles then turn left at the Bridgeport City Landing Sign. Check out my drive thru video at the bottom of page.
Upon entering Bridgeport City Landing you will find over 50 marked parking spots and another 3 or 4 acres of cleared off land for parking. The launch fee is $5. Cameras are on site so you will feel safe while catching a stringer of fish or just spending the day on the water. There is a pavilion available if you just want to just come and enjoy your lunch. Or come sit on the dock. The pavilion is handicap accessible and there are 4 picnic tables available. Power outlets are available at the pavilion, but I am sure you would need to contact the city if you were going to use them for an event.
The Facilities
There is also restroom facilities at Bridgeport City Landing which are handicap accessible and have marked parking spots in front of the building. They are cleaned on a regular basis.
The Boat Ramp
Walking down to the boat landing you will find over a 100 foot of floating dock. The dock has 24 dock tie-downs available. Also there is plenty of room on the ramp to launch at least 4 boats at a time. Which will aid in launching large numbers of boats quickly for upcoming fishing tournaments.
