The Big Alligators In Alabama Are On Lake Millers Ferry
Most people hear the word alligators and they think. We don’t have any of those around Millers Ferry, Alabama. Let me just say they are sadly mistaken. Registration for the 2022 Alabama Alligator Season opens on June 7, 2022 at 800 am and ends on July 13, 2022 at 800 am. Here is a link to Outdoor Alabama Website with all the information you will need https://www.outdooralabama.com/seasons-and-bag-limits/alligator-season#:~:text=Registration%20begins%20at%208%3A00,8%3A00%20a.m.%20CDT).&text=Restoration%20of%20the%20American%20alligator,Alabama%20played%20a%20lead%20role There is one thing Outdoor Alabama can not do and that is put you on a Monster Lake Millers Ferry Alligator.
Location of Alligators
I have fished the Lake Millers Ferry area on the Alabama River and seen many small alligators. But this year I have seen 2 Alligators that would go 12 or 13 feet easy and possibly longer. Obviously Lake Millers Ferry is where the World Record “Stokes Gator” came from. In my opinion I think there is one even bigger in the Wilcox County, Alabama River area and I know where it is.
I have seen them small and large fishing the Alabama River area this year. Give me a shout and if you contact me after the registration closing date for the upcoming season, I might be able to put you on the biggest alligator of your life comefishalabama@gmail.com that is if you are picked in the 2022 Alabama Alligator Season.
