Parking and Restrooms at Lower Pool Landing Tombigbee River
Turn off of Gandy Ferry Road onto Lower Pool Road continue a couple hundred yards and you will find the Lower Pool Landing at Spillway Falls Park on the Tombigbee River Demopolis, Alabama. There is plenty of parking and it is open 24 hours a day with lighting. With a Male and Female restroom in a solid building. Bathrooms are handicap accessible with handicap parking close by.

Lower Pool Boat Launch Tombigbee River
As you can see the landing is a little steep but clean and grooved this time of year when the water is down. There are high walls on each side of the boat launch to protect from fast currents when the water is high. At he bottom there is a nice transition from steep to not so steep which helps with those who are not so boat launch experienced. Still it would be easy to launch your Kayak or Personal Watercraft here as long as the current is slow and water is down.

Fees to Launch Your Boat at Lower Pool Landing
From what I can see there is No Fee to launch your Boat, Kayak or Personal Watercraft here at Lower Pool Landing on the Tombigbee River Demopolis, Alabama. The water is patrolled regularly by the Alabama Game and Fish/ALEA. A heads up though there is a lot of Barge traffic and what I call cabin cruisers heading back and forth to the Gulf.
